Isn't it funny how your life isn't your life?
I mean whenever you are going through worry, pain, and strife
Everyone else seems to know what is happening in your life

With all the chaos in the world you think no one sees your worry
You think no one cares about your sad little story
Yet everyone else seems to see how much you worry

No matter how hard you try to hide the pain
No matter how hard you try to hold back that rain
Everyone else seems to know what is causing your pain

With everyone else in the world who has an unbearable amount of strife
You would think no one would notice the strife in your life
But everyone seems to notice the ton of things that cause you strife

It's funny how no one hears your laugh or sees you smile
But by goodness don't you worry they'll notice you all the while
You've got nothing close to a laugh or a brilliant smile
