A new friendship

yesterday i met you
we became friends fast
we got along so well
i hope this friendship lasts

we have a lot in common
and i think thats great
everything we talked about
none of us seemed to hate

a friendship like this
is hard to find
and now that i have found one
my smile just seems to shine

we talked over an hour
after we met
and all of that time
i do not regret

we still have much
to learn about one another
when you here my story
i hope, you, it wont bother

that is so great
we like the same movies
and probably more yet to say

meeting you yesterday
there is nothing bad i can speak
