I sit here,
Overwhelmed and overpowered by the river of ecstasy coursing through me.
Granting me life in it‘s flow, it springs from you.
My memory is a steel fortress with the utmost of luxury inside if you’ll let it be;
Full of every instant of you and I,
In there each one is safely confined for eternity.
They are more precious than the rarest jewels,
Shining bright in me.
A divinity.
Your skin like silk pearls.
Your lips pink as the setting sun and as soft as petals of a spring rose.
Your eyes hypnotizing me in their dark, bistred glow,
Making my heart ache with the what they incite
Through the billion images of our future in them.
Your hair long, with the angelically soft waves of the calm oceans.
Intervention of God himself could not be so,
You are beauty beyond beauty.
But love is not misplaced in aesthetics;
My adoration of you is not directed from my eyes,
But your soul.
It renders everything I know and desire into nothingness;
Effortlessly inspiring to the design of heaven,
Gently astonishing me at every turn,
And towering in a wealth of all that is simply good.
And your heart;-
Words will come and words will go with language through time,
But words alone could never define it.
For these things I worship you.
To lie with you is to lie in heaven.
Feeling your skin on mine is to touch the zenith of the spiritual.
Your kiss you is an ecstasy my heart can barely withstand;
Yet I am a slave to the addiction it holds me in.
When you hold me in your arms you hold me in the skies, soaring;
Yet at home, safe from all in the world.
Though nature may dictate that perfection is a lie,
To gaze into your eyes is to gaze into the eyes of the closest it‘s certain to have come.
We have so much youth and life in our bones,
It is our blessing, but our grandest misfortune also;-
It grieves me that forever is too far for us to see,
When life's wisdom is the prize of age.
Yet I wonder sometimes if it matters.
So if you allowed me the privilege to serve you,
With my dignity always and entirely detached from your whim;
I promise I would do so forever.
Striving to create for you the same utopia I feel at every moment we're together.
Forever young and unwise in the life our truest love bestows.
Though I am too often reminded that you’re not here,
And I despair in the hellish torture of it,
I know that should I become condemned to the be amongst the damned tonight or ever,
My last wish would always be for our bodies to be entwined for a final time.
Just on the sofa bed holding you tight to my chest in the night again.
And I’d wish this if ever only to say these words;-
‘'I love you more than I could ever say' never really does cut it.’
Overwhelmed and overpowered by the river of ecstasy coursing through me.

Author notes
Dedicated to Trish, I love you more than this or anything could ever say. You make me happier than I've ever though I could be. I only ever want to do the same for you and hope this goes to some way to that in some amount. Hope you like it! =D
