Moving moments are filling my breath,
every running footfall forms new beginnings,
I am exceeding all my expectations.
My thoughts, once jumbled, become clear.
I hear myself strive
with every move I am the wind within
while running I know I am alive.
Do you?
Born again every day I run towards life.
I learn about what to be when feelings fly.
I gain knowledge in all my strides.
Within the movement of my body,
my heart beats connected
to all living thoughts
clearing a path for me
from the circle of strife
I run and run and I am freed
to be apart of one with all life.
Are you?

I believe I am, or at least have been consumed by the notion lately. It's nice how the tempo quickens and then stops sharply at the end of each stanza. Nicely portrays the metaphor and the metaphee.

Merry Christmas
I have missed being alive, simpe breath and heart beat means little, alone. "Coma" will be a poem I write one day. God bless you in these Holy Days, Annie
