Distance between us that I hate.
Often I wish distance between us did not exist
Give me a blink of an eye,
and her right there by my side
I despise the storming intense fights we have,
the pettiness that stops us speaking and makes
my heart cry loudly, why?
I express my suffering over missing her dearly when apart
but feel most times she doesn’t really listen
We have a connection most would envy,
the bond of being twins.
From the inside looking out sometimes its just not
all it’s cracked up to be.
Odd I know and change it, I struggle with how to.
So I write.
I share my pain and frustrations and I hope, no I know
that it helps in some way.

There is as the previous reader said often sibling rivalry for a period of growth, but often these things are sorted as you mature further. Outside pressures and expectations of perfect family twins can cause extra pressure. You express your feeling well which makes this a sad read. Your poetry is clear and easy to read, keep writing like you said it will help and you have much talent to offer!

This is such a great write. It really has such a lovely feel to it as I was reading through. And I think most siblings have this trouble. But in the end, family is family, and thats all that matters. Great work.

I am feeling better specially since i was able to get what i was feeling down on paper, or rather into word LOL
I do try sometimes epcially with my sis it is indeed hard, but writing about it does help so so much

Physically one, psychologically differnt. Attitudes creat distance my friend.We are near as our attitudes match, that i liked your frankness. You may be near to me, but i may be far from you. All sorts of things happen sweety.
