Filled with memories of the past,
Their kindly shadows o'er our lives cast
And how sweet to reminisce,
Of a past time, a hug, a kiss!
Of special Mem'ries, Christmas excels,
Of happy times and "Silver Bells"
Of wintry,yet such heart warming time,
Of Families sharing, and friendships kind.
A Tree to shelter festive, wrapped gifts,
With hopes spawned, the spirit lifts
Yuletide greetings fill the air,
To spread abroad it's Christmas cheer!
Families near and brought together,
Braving cold and snowy weather
Filling the air with sumptuous breezes,
Of pine, and pumpkin--the scent that pleases.
O that most festive Holiday,
"Deck the Halls"--what a grand display!
Adding to it's mesmeric splendor,
In our mind remains a warm, bright glimmer!

Yet another heart warming poem from a poet with the true spirit of Christmas. I love how well your poem flows and the wording through out rocks as well. Wuah! I love Christmas poems and this is the very reason why! So pretty and uplifting, showing all the gentle glory of Christmas. It's one of my favorite times of year because you get to be together with your family and just celebrate in the warmth of their precense. I love that. Now I can't wait for Christmas...
