You've got my heart laying open on the floor,
All my feelings you've decoded and read.
I'm trying so much harder than before
To cover my thoughts; get you out of my head.

But you watch and you wait til the moment is right,
And you jump and attack at my weakest spot.
You're constantly pushing with all of your might,
Til I'm fighting and failing with all that I've got.

Now I'm sinking in this pool of regret where you left me,
And trying to float or stay above the surface.
I'm crying cause I know you'll soon forget me.
You've broken me down and stolen my purpose.

Hmmm. Good thing you wrote old news. I wouldn't have known if this was about him or just something you decided to write. lol. But honestly Ebi, I think your poetry has gotten so much better now that you're kinda writing again. It... has a lot more feeling to it. If you know what I mean. lol
