the price of that glance
she knew was her ass.
Maybe she never won
and this the contest she chose.
It was the choice that
she most understood.
$139.99
envious eyes pointed
down to her feet.
They're just offering
her self-esteem.
What is so wrong about
a girl feeling good at night.
$424.99
The whole room looks
to the large round genetc assets
she acquired from her mother,.
And, why not use them,
they say to her, sway male opinion.
Like an alfa female. She agrees.
$269.99
Many people laugh,
as one man laughs,
while she laughs
at the favor she just aquired
from dirty sheets
and a dumb rose.
Author notes
option 2, So my mom was a feminist and my family has come from a fierce perspective on this subject. Women have control in their circumstance as much as men. I think a big problem comes when men use their advantage and suppress women's advantage in the situation. Tons of frustration comes from both sides, who is the winner, does choice do anything to help? What is the point, why are we alive, why is there a universe? It all seems to not obey the way we wanted it to. A holism idea, I guess. I do think sex being marketable has something to do with the basic nature of the universe, if I agree with it morally or not (which I don't).

love your take on this... the actual arbitrary (or perhaps not?) prices you've placed throughout... the last three lines clenched the point, the entire message for me...
