I took a walk the other day,
seeing just what I might find.
When from my path I turned away,
to further explore my mind.
I saw the very manifestation of God's perfect beauty,
but as trees, and heavenly light.
I saw that which few would allow themselves to see,
blinded, they are, by the night.
What I saw that day, cannot be seen,
by any deceptive human eye.
For what I saw was beauty, clean.
Seen by the soul, a gift, from on high.
I took it in, I studied it well,
for I knew that soon I must leave.
After being there I wanted naught but to dwell,
and that thought caused me to grieve.
But I heard from above, a voice filled with power.
it was the voice of the Lord.
Unfolding itself as a springtime flower.
beautiful, in every chord.
My soul, from this, was completely purveyed
as he spoke and I lent him my ear,
I was told by the Father, "Do not be afraid,
For I will always be here."
"Where you are now is not but a wood,
but a manifestation of my love,
you know it well and well you should,
you have a Father, above."
I remained in that wood of God's perfect love
and I knew, (rather than believed).
That I had been there, walking, with the father above.
and that he would never leave.
