I walked through Depression,
Everyday was hell,
I did not live,
And I wasn't myself.
I walked through cutting,
The scars tell my story,
Of Pain and misery,
Of everything that hurt me.
I walked through abuse,
My emotions ran wild,
I was so hurt, so mad,
I could do absolutely nothing.
I walked through sadness,
Of losing a friend,
To something so stupid,
Why wasn't we both stronger?
I walked through fights,
People called me names,
I just stared at them,
What fools they all made.
I walked through a graveyard,
To visit my father,
It was cold and dark,
How I missed him so.
I walked through school,
With all there lies,
I just covered my ears,
I would not listen to them.
I walked through the crowd,
And I found him at last,
I hugged him tight,
My long lost soul mate.
I walk in love,
He takes my heart away,
I am happier now,
Knowing he won't leave.
