when the walls around my heart crumble, and fall,
i'll have nothing left to protect it from the pain.

protect me from the words, getting hurt
i built these walls to keep people out
and keep me inside and alone...
i built these walls high and strong for years
but how did you get by them?
how are you the only person to tear down these walls?

i saw you on the first day
