There was a spell in a day
sunshine held the trees enrapt
and rain gently caressed the wind
clouds descended to touch my eyes;
and night would bring owl sounds
dove calls, welcome and embraces
a dance in moonlight and shadow
subtle touches of heavy air;
seeing the magic in a day,
when I still believed in love.

You have that thing to give an unexpected end to some of your poems. Here you did it again; it started as hopeful love poem, and ended as a sad love poem.
Still, you always take the best of the pictures presented to you, and make of your words a second canvas.
