There's a stranger in my house
She scares me very much
I hate the way she carries herself
I don't appreciate when she'd cuss
She's very violent to everyone
Especially to my mom
I just can never understand
What she thrives upon
Something fuels her anger
Something feeds her rage
Something makes her pretend
She's much older than her age
She pretends to not be bothered
By the pain she has made
Yet I know better; it bothers her
It shows in the marks by her blade
This poor strange girl is torn apart
The anger destroying from within
Inside her lies a sweet, gentle girl
Trying to surface again
Yet the person on the outside
Is terrifying and mean
She's horrible and demented
Ignorant and obscene
There's a stranger in my house
But the worst thing of all, you see
Is this stranger who I talk about
Is actually me
