To be able to get you off my mind
would be heavenly
but I know I'd miss you

I'll stay strong though
just like you want me to
hold my head up high
damnit, I won't let you see me cry
I can't show you how hard I've fallen
can't let you know how far this has gone
because then you'd hurt too
knowing you let me
I wish I could forget your voice
your scent, your touch
I wish you'd just let me go in peace
instead of pieces

Those were great. And the whole idea you know he'd hurt too was great. It shows the pain and agony on both sides. It was beautiful!
