The moon is black
The sun is dead
The world is at its end
How has your day been
Come on in!
The air reeks of death
Children with bombs in there chest
Homeless people running everywhere
Hey do you need a ride to the fair?
The ground is red soaked with blood
Little girls are high getting fucked in the club
People panic, riots break
YES bingo, hey lets go bake a cake
People oblivious to the world
Tears and death everyday
Hey but smile today
Tomorrow will be worse

I know it's not meant to be funny, but I got a chuckle out of the last line in each of the stanzas, and how they seemed to just come out of nowhere. I mean, it's effective when considering the previous lines, and how it's suggests we are totally oblivious to the horrible things going on around us. This is a social piece, but unlike most pieces of this nature, it's not preachy, and I appreciate that. Thanks for entering.
