Ice Princess

Warm whispers falling from her lips like snow,
she presses her lips
to the glass [cold as ice]
leaving impressions for all
to feel.

Struggling through stark white emotions
&& crystalized veins
with no heartbeat
to be discovered,
she reflects the stars
in the cool of night...
reminding us it is always winter.

Raptured in existence
[only by blue butterflies]
with wings of garland tips,
she awaits the day that spring
will suffice her to slumber.

A crossed out creation
confined by mythical consumption,
her soul surrendering to the solace
of January's child
[long-suffering the sadness of December]

Option #2~ surrender to
I actually had this written already, but it seems to fit well here.

This is a piece that I spent some time reading over and over, allowing my mind to connect with the meaning behind these words. Filled with so many beautiful lines.....

    Struggling through stark white emotions....

    Raptured in existence.....

    confined by mythical consumption......

    and such a perfect ending:

her soul surrendering to the solace
    of January's child
    [long-suffering the sadness of December]

Wow! Stunning images and and wonderful flow....The kind of verses you want to repeat over and over and say out loud. Thanks for a fantastic read. :-)
