Box Of Bricks

Bleeding knuckles
Have been pounding on these walls
Searching for some kind of resistance.
Our minds are screaming
The psychotic side releasing
What has been so long held inside.

I cannot breathe
My sanity has abandoned me.
I think schizophrenia's kicked in
It's only me inside this box of bricks.

Through the images
Of tongue-tied false reality
Within these nightmares, I find sleep.
The only thing
Worse than a surrealist dream
Is sleeping with my bones beside me.

I cannot breathe
My sanity has abandoned me.
I think schizophrenia's kicked in
It's only me inside this box of bricks.

Where's the daylight
And the night time?
In this box, has the world stopped turning?
I don't know
Just how long I've been here
I hope these wings will set me free.

I cannot breathe
My sanity has abandoned me.
I think schizophrenia's kicked in
It's only me inside this box of bricks.

I cannot breathe
My sanity has abandoned me.
I think schizophrenia's kicked in
It's only me inside this box of bricks.

Please tell me what you think

This would be a pretty sweet song. It flows really nicely and the box of bricks is a good metaphor to this feeling.

    "The only thing
    Worse than a surrealist dream
Is sleeping with my bones beside me."

umm that line is genius, favorite part.

awesome write, can't wait to read more.
