white snow on the ground;
dark blue sky
winter night
a wish of no gifts;
no clothes
no compact discs
no candle lit rooms.
a Christmas tree
a cozy fire
and someone to make me laugh
someone, no one
anyone, everyone!
what's Christmas without a loving home
nothing more anyone could want;
than a Christmas with you
at home.
Author notes
My great grandfather just died. he was pretty close to me. I really miss him. ): It's sad to think that my usual christmas gift from him and great grandmother will only say 'from great grandma' . < 3 and this is also for anyone who's left my life.

I am so sorry about your grandfather! What a wonderful tribute you have penned for those loved ones that are no longer there from day to day! Just to be at home with loved ones is enough!
Blessings and best wishes,

Excellent!
This poem was very touching and sweet. I can relate (my great-grandma died at 100). It is sad to feel the absence of one. Thanks for entering and good luck in my contest! By the way, it's very creative!
