Oh, to venture to a world where all your dreams come true
as in Oz, over the rainbow where treasures and smiles can be found
I allow the poetry to take me there...
Emotions and feelings flow freely through my pen;
flowing over the paper as liquid gold
The magical world of poetry allows me to soar on angels' wings
and become part of an uncomplicated world
My soul is bared; my heart exposed
as my thoughts and feelings spill upon the page

This poem presents a simple idea, but such a true one, in poetry you can be anyone and do anything and I like the idea that it can take me "on a journey to a most wonderous place..." which is so very true.
You've written it in a way that makes you sigh with peace, ready for what lies ahead.
