I was sitting there watching you
But you didn't know it
I'm sure you also didn't know
That I was a closet poet
My heartwrenching love poems
The ones I wrote about you
The poetry you'll never read
Showed that my heart rang true
It showed that I loved you
Beyond all reason
You didn't know the truth
You committed betrayal && treason
You were with a normal girl
But you loved the prom queen
As my brown eyes stared at you
You looked into her eyes, so green
I wasn't good enough
I'm sorry for that
I'm sorry your heartbeat for me
Fell flat . . .

This is sad but a nicely written poem.

WoWzErs!!! one question... how do you make thosse hearts??

-
oo....such a sad and depressing piece...but i think that the rhyme went ok...a lot of pre-teens and girls from 14-17 go through this, hell even some adults do too, so it is totally relatable

Hey this is really good. I like it!
wats EKG tho?

an EKG is a...ummm...how do i explain it? the thing in the hospital that people are hooked to the goes up and down to measure a heartrate. and when you're dead it goes flat? well that's where i got the idea for the title...from the last line...
thx for ur comment.
