he dances to my rhythm
while I touch his dream
between the pastel colours
of this bedroom’s walls
movements swing
in the cadence of pure jazz
his fingers play my strings
releasing sweltering sounds
like Getz and his sax
perfectly blended harmony

Just as a blending of notes brings out more than is there
singularly, so too this poem has many layers and touches
on many levels, some only felt and not seem...a true concert of cuddleness to say the least...
SoLOw Concerto
she vibrates undercover
pulsed sensations of rhythm
through liquid sax
Hugs and Happy Holidays...

Ms MariGoes your writing is always soft and true. I'm sure you're all quality, a little always flows from your fingers to the page, where we lesser folk can feel and dream. ---- Thank you.

There's a sensuality in this poem that not many poets I know of are able to capture within their words.

-
Mari, your words have added music to this poem... beautiful depiction of thoughts...

Your 80th poem!
Of course you've actually written hundreds but still, I'm weird and numbers are important to me, so congrats on that nice number 80! -
Stan Getz, I'm learning.

As usual, you know how to capture that feeling, that sense of what is really important, what really matters between two people. And you draw that moment, we see it, like it's a photo, or better yet, a painting, because a photograph only shows us what is there, but art can dig deeper, to show us the essence, that which we feel but can't be seen.
This will please a wide audience for it pleases in many ways, it's not only sensuous in romantic terms but also in literary and as the title suggests (unintentionally) in it's rhythm and spirit.
You are something more than good. You are this poem.
