Seek…
I learn now ,I learn now
Desperate , restless ,lost
I’ve forgotten how…
I’m a fool, unworldly, unyielding
So there’s no prize,
For someone who doesn’t compromise.
I’m my peace ,is that my prize ?
Nothing can reach me
I can hear only my voice
No feelings and no faces
I want to remember …some of them
Who can read me ,are more sure of me than myself
Is there some fight?
But what is my fight?
“ when there is a world in sight
I’ve always taken flight”
Some remember theirs
They’ve remembered somehow
They know what’s right
I’ve forgotten mine
But I’ll learn how
I’ll learn now !

Thank you for entering the contest.
Good Luck. -
Looking at the title (seek) and the words of the poem, I think you are looking for yourself. Asking yourself: "Who am I?" You close yourself up for other people's feelings and faces. The people who know you, know you better than you know yourself. You are fighting an inner fight with yourself, but you see progress, for you are learning. Very good!

interesting.... i like how you placed the lines on the background.. they seem kind of sketchy.. which adds to the drama of the situation.. this write makes the reader sense confusion and frustration.. very emotional.. great write.. good luck..

I like the format and you had some great lines, but it just didn't have the details to grip me, shake me, move me, and groove me. Maybe I wasn't seeking hard enough. Thank you for entering and sharing with us.
