A single stream of pure pain
Shown today for the world to see.
So in love, but with the wrong name,
Can’t you see how much I’m hurting?
Waiting for a reply from his heart,
Praying he’ll open up and tell me.
Choking so much, not sure I can anymore,
I’ve never felt this much pain before.
Retreating within, oh what have I done?
The devil yells whilst the angel cries,
Tell me what to do because I just don’t know.
In ten minutes I’ve torn three people apart.
You say you just want me to be able to smile
Yet I’m sitting here in a pool of fresh flown tears.
And he’s backed so far away from me
That I wonder if I’ll ever see him again.
It kills me to know, I did this for you,
I could’ve lied and kept living the double life
And it wasn’t anyone but me I was hurting,
But instead I broke us all with three simple words.
There’s someone else.

I was in a long distance relationship and I slept with another person. I told the other person about the L/D and that's what this is about. I've successfully fucked it all up. Go me.

like looking through a mirror
I have been in two long distance relationships and I have figured out that they are no good. I think that this poem shows so much emotion. I can tell that you put effort into it but then again, it didnt take long to write because all the feelings were right at the tip of the pen. Good luck -
Yea those words do hurt a lot, doesn't matter if it's long distance or not. If you two should be together, it will come back to you again. And the most unique lines "You say you just want me to be able to smile
