Her unrivaled comprehension,
of the world in which we live in.
Is proof enough to print,
we all love reading it.
But we think of her now,
she came to us and pow!
The angel of our night,
brilliant shining light,
said "peaceful is her fight."
Fantastic energy spirals,
lay in great big piles,
if only just to say,
have a very happy day.

That said, your verses are of a celebratory kind.

Well, this is a sincere tribute for Margaret's birthday - but it is NOT a sonnet. Do be careful before adding the name of a classic form to the title of your poem that you really are sure about the rules of the form.
I have to say, too, that for me "POW" seems out of keeping with the mood of the poem... it reminds me too much of strip-serials! -
