Longing

Oh~
How I
love moonlight
~for it gives me
warmth

Soft
light stirs
my longing
~swept away am
I

Lost
within
mystic dreams
~my heart beckons
yours

Peace
instills
the night’s charm
~ I long for your
love

An older writing...which is worth the reposting. I have not had the time to write much lately...nor the inspiration.

  • Simple, concise with depth

I have always loved your work because you have the gift of expressing rythmic movement in simple but very meaninfully deep ways; at times there is such an "earth" to your poetry. Longing is definitely NO execption to this! The disclipines of eastern styles of composition very much suit your unique way of writing. Liz, you are a true poet. Robi

    Beautiful

This write is like fine chocolate...it just melts on the tongue with each word spoken. And, as with chocolate, it leaves you craving more!

    Beautiful

So spare and yet so full of meaning. The form is inspiring too. Just great. One of my all time favorites for sure.
