Dark Waters...

Missing image
Waters,
yes, dark waters
seducing me
my flesh-bound soul.
Sickeningly-sweet, mysterious, orgiastic
Dark waters calling upon my soul
Beating in the dark incessantly
assailing one's eager flesh,
restrained,
with fingers of cloying love.
Dark waters
carrying sounds, glimmers
tempting
from eternal night:
whispers heard
from serpentine sylphs
shimmers, dances of mermaid glory
Wonderful flash of human beauty
in a smile.
Heart-sting,
narrowing eyes,
the weak 'No' of voice
burdened with longing, gore.
Oh, amorous sigh of flesh in need
With-in the hour of Satan's power'
A flood of pity oh, fallen man
the groaning spirit moans
under unfailing burden of besetting sin
...And the groaning spirit,
moans in horror.

    WOW! Tanya,
This is an amazing take on the picture prompt!
The flow is excelent in addition to your word choice. I was blown away by the following:

    "Heart-sting,
    narrowing eyes,
    the weak 'No' of voice
    burdened with longing, gore.
Oh, amorous sigh of flesh in need
With-in the hour of Satan's power'
A flood of pity oh, fallen man
    the groaning spirit moans
under unfailing burden of besetting sin
    ...And the groaning spirit,
    moans in horror."

    Brilliantly Penned!
I wish you the best in the contest.
    ~David~
