In my shadow is where I see,
A man no other man could be.
One who follows me with the wind,
One who I know will be with me until the end.
A man who gave his all,
So him and his family would never fall.
I know you did not deserve what you got,
The thought of that I've always fought.
I know what happened to you was your fait,
But I don't understand why you could not wait.
Life is hard without him here,
A man who's face never had a tear.
The lost that happened in the past few years,
Brought to our face so many tears.
You are the one I feel by my side,
The one who helps me through any tough ride.
God has given me my one special bliss,
The guardian angel I'll always miss.
They say you are gone, But I know it's not true,
I know this because in my heart I carry you.
I love you so much and I always will,
There's a whole in my heart that only you can fill.
There's only one thing I ask of you,
Continue to watch over us as you already do.
This is to you the one whom I've missed,
I thank you for everything, and i know I am blissed.

It may not make sense to most, but this was a man in my life that was lost in a terrible train accident and I miss him very much.

although...fate was spelled wrong in your third stanza. I believe you spelled it "fait"

Thanks for your entry. I'm sorry for your loss. I liked the contents of this poem, and I really liked the end. The emotion is all there, but in my opinion I find that the rhyme is sometimes a bit simple and not well thought out. Still, these are the experiences I was looking for. And I did enjoy reading it
