There he sits
slowely he creeps up to you
closser
closser
now he's there
staring into your face
as you slowely drift away
not expecting a thing
your mind is in a trance almost like a comma
but not quite
he stares
his eyes gleam
staring at you
just lying there hopelessly
your pale white skin
minnor scrapes and scratches
he wonders what has happened
he sees the smoke
he smells the gasoline
he hears the steady
drip drip drip
he looks around
glass shattered
your heart beat slowes
he grab's you in his arms
he cry's
tears drizzle from his eyes
to his cheeks
onto your chest
he screams for your return
but your soul is gone
he prays for a nightmare
but it really happened
no other car just
you

the blinding almost translucent snow
the dark
misty
gray night sky
out on interstate 10
on the outskirts of Texas
.....your escape
your desserted and no one comes
still he sits heart pounding
his life over
