Peaceful House

Standing proudly
On the top of a
High big cliff
Overlooking the
Calm broad sea
And watching
The blue skies
Pass it softly by
Clouds bouncing
About the roof
Observing tourists
Gape in awe at
The beauty of itself
But as the day ends
The sun leaves just
A peaceful house

again not my favorite, the wording on some parts seems retorical and takes away from the poem, for example, in line 3 high and big suggest the same thing, a revision of the words would make it better, ad a few more descritptive words, but all in all a very nice poem, it reminds me of the grandy canyon. The morning I watched the suns rays run like fingers along the cliffs, painting the blue and purple walls to their pink, crimson and firey orange color. chasing away the blaknet that the night had cast upon natures micheal angelo. The poem is simplistic but nice. Good job

I like this poem. You can just feel the peacefulness and imagine looking at the calm sea. You can see the blue skies. I really like the part about the blue skies pass it slowly by clouds bouncing about the roof.
