Fog like mist surround like a coat
People pass with jubilant smiles
I see their faces with recognition
Nodding as they greet me with “hi”
Time hanging, minutes like hours
Hangs like a closet full of clothes
Smothering me with anxiety
Suffocating me with emotions
Choking on words and pleasantries
Pressure builds as a valve is busting
Dry sockets hold tears from flowing
Doorway looms as I yearn to leave
Hiding in my place of concealment
Pouring out the hurt in privacy
Loneliness brings on the anger
Lashing out with hurtful words
Dreading the moment I face it
Wishing it was a year from now
The moment can be forgotten
Change of attitude is necessary

I think the first stanza is a little wordy but I really loved the first three lines of the third stanza, you really capture the whole feeling in those few lines. Thank you and good luck
