Musical Interlude

G
major
chord resounds,
poem’s harmony
unwinds within words,
as quill’s baton measures
patterns performance, final
cadence heard with reader’s soft sigh,
as inscribed notation of letters
display her mastery of chosen thoughts.

    Etherees are fun!

    Keith is rather 'caustic'.
Conductor, baton, orchestra and sound become one in a poem. This metaphor runs mainly true, Susie.

    The Etheree
    Always reminds me
    Of an anaesthetic
Might there also be a form
    Called the chloroform?

    This particular etheree flows well.

Love the music that flows from this poem...

A family of musicians here, so this poem strikes a chord in my heart. Beautiful!

An interesting approach - and I appreciated the pun on Margaret's initial.

Thank you Susie, that is a lovely etheree, and a sweet metaphor! It could be applied to you as much as to me, you have such mastery of syllabic forms.
