Out the house with dog,
Chill early before sunrise.
Dragon's breath rising.
Snow blankets on all,
Snow crunchy muffled movement
All is quiet, cold.
I know you are there,
far from me, far and away.
Always, I love you.
Author notes
I was born in western Illinois. We know winter in a way that many in warmer climes do not. I guess in a way it is both a blessing and a bane.
Thanks for the opportunity to do this with you all.

Am warming up this cold cold Saturday. You can share your honest criticism and I will try to heed it with calm and gratitude.

Thank you Lynda for the compliment
This cloudy frozen rainy Sunday morning, the good words are much appreciated.
I can now not worry so very much about that casino the governor and the Mob want to bring into Chicago.
Merry Christmas!
