cool breeze
blowing on my face
soft snowflakes
falling on my hands
and tongue
a chill running through me
tasting the smowflakes
is like rain
except much colder!
creating snowballs
and throwing them at you
is wrong of me
but who cares?
it's Christmas soon
the season of giving!
with my mufflers in tow
and soft curls running down
my sweater,
I aim one
right at your face
bingo!
I get hit back
but it was still something
not to be missed
twirling around
like a ballerina
looking up
at the heavens above
I wish upon a shooting star
once our snowman is done,
we head inside
and have some hot cocoa
and delicious crumpets
listening to christmas carols
by the fireplace
I can't wait for tomorrow

this is very nice, made me want to go play in the snow, of course I can't here but still it gave me that feeling... well done...

aww, such a sweet poem on winter

it's really a pity that we don't experience this season, because although winter's awfully cold, it's still really fun to play with the snow with your half frozen hands

i like this poem very much! it made me feel like i was playing in the snow and throwing snowballs at others! this gave me a chilled feeling in my heart!
I love the way you express your love for christmas! and yea... its the season for giving! It's just so sad that it doesn't snow here... where we live! imagine what it would be like now in england!
Anyways... i have to say! this was an amazing poem.. altough, i didn't quite understand how the shooting star fit in... coz it was like you were talking about the snow and bam! there's the shooting star... i just found it a bit sudden! that's not a mistake tho... just telling ya what i feel! other than that, this was a very nice poem... it made me feel the snow and want to take a flight to england!
