if only you would hold me,
and take the pain away.
i hope to get through today,
but you wont set my heart free.
theres things in life we can not explain,
like how we go after what we cant hold.
grasp me tight for i am cold,
and blandly kiss me in the rain.
as much as i hate change
i realize i can never rearrange,
fate.
so let it be how it may,
and live each moment like its your last,
cause you dont know whatcha got till its past,
and i attain this is the only way.
