The key to my heart
would be a difficult one
to interpret and even harder
to find; this lock is made
from the softest type of love
and it can never be opened
it's always been closed
and I am glad for I can't trust
but I am always willing to be found by a key
which will understnad the correct combination
to break through the tiny barrier; right into
my very heart. So give it a try though I warn
this may be the most difficult thing to achieve
and your key might get broken along the way
so, do you still want to try to open this lock?
Author notes
I tried to make it look like a lock~

I can see the effort here. I cannot do shape poetry, which is why I held the contest. Your message is a beautiful one, and I appreciate you sharing.

i have to say... this did look like a key... though in the beginning i thought this was supposed to be a kep (derived from the tittle) then i realised it was supposed to be a lock! (i know i can be slow sometimes)

OH MY

this is so cool.
although it didn't look like a lock to me, it's the thought that counts..
i loved the way you titled the poem "The Key to My Heart" and shaped the poem into a lock.
Great metaphorical use
