sitting in a field
surrounded by
grass surrounded by
buildings cluttered with
people and
machines who make
noises...
this truck across
the field i sit
it makes an awful banging
drilling deep into
the ground i am
quite far away
and here i'll stay.

wisdom is man's greatest currency
delightful indeed. the original had commas, but i was advised to remove them by Lad - a most acclaimed poet on Share Poetry. you should check out his work. anyhow, no commas create a better flow. and now i live by this.
