a note from adam

we'll fill your mouth with petty words

with every truth we think we've heard

with all the hopes the stars have blurred

with loss and agonies uncured

we'll fill your heart with grief and shame

with curses lies and countless blames

with torments born in bitter flames

with horrors acted in your names

we'll fill your firmament with banes

with vapors bleeding deadly rains

with armaments of hellish pains

with fears to make a world insane

we'll fill your earth with broken bones

with wounded flesh and gurgling groans

with strong conviction's angry tones

with battlements of steel and stone

we'll fill your eyes with gaping dread

with scenes of war grotesquely spread

with cold machines that haunt the dead

with anguish till you turn your head

    Exellent!

I really like this, i think it is very open for interpretion as to who you are talking about, i chose to place it to government. Nicely done.

    Hi Erin

    The worm turns!
No, to me it does look like a missive from Adam, almost infuriated at our bad stewardship.
I think you used up all the w's in the English language writing this one. I can just picture someone on their pc right now trying to write the words "Wee Willie Winkle"
and all that comes up is "ee illie inkle", because you've monopolized the letter.LOL

Very nice Erin, cut like a diamond!

    I wonder....who is we'll?

I am not sure what to take away from this...
I sense major frustration but of what I can't tell...the title I suppose complicates the thought process...

"we'll fill your firmament with banes

My best guess is that "adam" is referring to man in general but that still seems a little off....I am not sure...nicely worded though...a lot of angst felt..
