Little bitty things that make my mind churn,
So much anger and frustration I burn.
Silent words only whispers sneaking right by,
Words among quiet ears most of them lies.
I believe silence is golden,
When no words are spoken.
But we live in a world of just voices,
Gossip and lies our own choices.
The whispers and smirks never seem to die,
I hate all this gossip, can't live with the lies.

It's so easy to get sucked into something like that before we even realize what happened.
"I believe silence is golden,
When no words are spoken." These lines are excellent for the truth they hold. It's better to just keep one's mouth shut, sometimes. Your rhyme and meter are pretty smooth. Thanks so much for entering my contest!
