Music of the mind

This morning a woke up a failure
I heard the music escaping me
It had a rusty unusual tone
I couldn’t find a single word

I felt I had no hope
And music wasn’t the life for me
To pass the time I changed my guitar strings
Tryin out a brand new sound
I thought ill try it drugged on alcohol
But when I woke up after I passed out
It hit me now
I realized what music was all about

Well then I swore I sounded great
I spent my time writing till day’s break
But it was a waste of time
My paper said absolutely nothing
By that evening I found
The echo of failure’s sound

But I sang la lie la lie
It’s not over
Let’s just let it come to me
Until then it attacked me mentally

Don’t you fight
seconds are still going by
and patience knows no time

It eventually worked
My depression settled down
Sometimes it’s not the right day
And sometimes you found you’re life

As the sun went down
I finally realized the music within my mind
Is purely the music of my mind

So then I expected moments like today
To continue through day by day
But if the time isn’t right
Then don’t even try
If I’m not up to it
My mind wont be in the right light
Just keep in mind
If I could do it before
I could do It later

So this is what happens
When you discover the music within your mind
You’ll feel the music so effortlessly
For it is purely the music of your mind
