Beautiful orchestra of the mind
Cranial biology defined
The sound of thought
Classical harmony by design
Lobes blaring brass
Neurons booming percussion
The beat pounds in my head
Resounding drums, concussion
The cerebellums magic music
The melody so sweet
Wooing my ears
With a mental musical treat
The grey matter playing woodwinds
The white on the strings
Complicated symphonies
Make my subconscious sing
As the cortex lays the bass line
Follow the tune
Never ending chords
Resound through the room
A natural anomaly
Art at its finest
Incomparable intricacy
Envy of the mindless
Both a gift and a curse
The music of the brain
Lovely and hideous
No brilliance with out insane
Author notes
This poem is about the beautiful harmony of mental processes in the brain that allow us to be the most intelligent species on earth and the duplicity of insane and brilliant that exist within the mind of every human.
