The stars are ignoring me,
How they can I'm not quite sure,
My friends arn't quite there,
Just names running round my head,
So many names,
So little happiness.
In my dreams,
I stand on a beach,
Before my eyes,
I see an empty ocean,
A never ending sea,
On either side,
The sand spans for miles,
And the only footsteps here are my own.
My heart in layers of steel,
Locked behind bars,
Long ago I throw away the key,
Ignorance of men,
None seem to think much of me.
I'm a single cloud in summer sky,
A small fish in an empty ocean,
A pebble on a sandy beach,
A little lonely girl,
In a large lonely world.
