I have a bowl for a face.
it holds things
for my friends.
I’ve three sets of keys in my mouth
and a few keepsakes tucked in my eyes,
along with some spare change
I don’t mind holding them,
because I like feeling needed.

Wow... I know someone who always feels like this~ but mostly it's with her family... with friends if she feels like she might start getting used again she'll "bite"... lol which she does constantly mixed together with being ever so sweet and sincere. Anyhow, I think she's still coming out of herself~

I've been there, and I hope that someday soon you feel the flick of the switch inside you. Where you realize that that isn't being needed and it isn't friendship. Let their keys fall to the ground, put the change in your pocket as payment for the years of feeling not good enough and meet the people who will offer to hold your hand through the journey.
