I wish

I had a picture of you,

I'd keep it

near my bed.

And I would look at it

each night

as I lay my head.

 

 

 

I wish

I had a picture of you,

I'd hug it

every night.

I'd keep you near

my breasts,

until the morning light.

 

 

 

I wish

I had a picture of you,

I'd kiss

your sweet lips.

And there I would

keep you,

tightly in my grip.

 

 

 

But I guess

I don't really need one,

 I have

a picture of you

my Love,

deep within

my heart.

    aww how sweat i love it i feel the same way about a very special person of mine i love him to death and would hold his pic night at night if i could but that is ok i hve it deep inside as your poem said very nice i love it..

      So glad you enjoyed this poem. I never got to see the face of the one I loved only in my mind. I never heard his voice, only in my dreams. But I wa in love with him and lost him only months after we met.
