There are a few things that I need you to know
I just want you to listen, No, don't tell me I'm fine
you need to know that I've loved you my whole life
loved you since the day I saw you
outside that fitness club
do you remember how you caught me checking out your butt?
I was so embarrased that you caught me in the act.
You gave our boys your love,
and you hugged them when they were hurt
you held me when dad died,
you never said a word,
just held me in your arms,
I truly loved you for that
you were always there for me Bri,
and no matter how hard things got,
I knew, I *knew* in my heart,
you've always believed in me,
and were my biggest champion.
You allowed me to soar,
when everyone else expected me to sink,
you loved me unconditionally,
no matter what mistakes I made
So I just wanted to tell you
how much I've loved
being your best friend,
and having you as the love of my life.

Heart felt, your words touched me. I could feel the sincerity. Well done

Wow. I like how the poem matures as 'you' do. I've never felt love, but I feel this. It hurts.
