Would you like to know
Where rainbows come from?
It starts with one tear
From the eye of the sun
This tear falls down
Into the lap of the sea
And when the drop cooled
An animal leapt free
It's body was white
It's eyes where pure black
And every color
Were wings on it's back!
With two hooves of silver
A beak for it's jaws
The head of an horse
And soft lion paws
It's feathered ears quivered
When it felt a storm near
And the bellow it called
Would strike you with fear
Where ever it flew
It left us a trail
A ribbon of color
Shed from it's tail
We call it 'Panyra'
It's lucky to see
But it's the strangest creature
There ever would be
So if you follow a rainbow
You best come prepared
For an unusual sight
Unless you are scared!
