A long time a ago,
in a land far away,
fruitcake was born,
to give away.
Year after year,
it sat on the shelves,
no one would buy it,
for themselves.
Then one day,
a clever man,
said "listen up!,
I've got a plan."
He bought tins,
with Christmas themes,
Frosty, Santa,
Winter scenes.
The town helped
him through the night,
wrap and package
tins so bright.
All the fruitcake,
on this earth,
are from the batch,
that they shipped first.

lol cute poem. My grandma makes frute cake every year, I actually like it. But it's probably just her recipie I like, no one elses. Anwyays, Thanks for entering my contest. Sorry it's taking me so long to judge, but as you may be able to imagine, it takes a while to read so many poems and pick out the very best. Merry belated christmas!

Ah, so that is how it happened.
Good for them to do such a fine and generous thing... for I adore fruitcake.
