Land of Mint Tea Hospitality

In the land of mint tea hospitality
the sands of time shift more slowly
under the feet of braying camels
and the scales of dancing cobras.
The azaan echoes over the Atlas,
and all bow to prayer.

Wow. This is enchanting, again with the soft mood of your other poem just this one has...a myserious feel? Not mysterious but...not longing...not empty...not wishful...not anything that needs anything. Its like wandering and getting lost but not needing to really go anywhere. Like where you end up is the same as where you started even if you walked very far.
It seems, calloused this place...and serene but in a way that there is nothing but serenity here. Making this peace seem almost ominous. Very intriguing creative place you have made with your silky words.

Great imagery but I'm trying to figure out where this is. I don't think I'd want to live there.

    Love,

The picture for the contest reminded me a lot of the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.
