The blazing embers of lonliness have died out and the jukebox
band no longer plays Taps. For Cupid has had
a vibrant change
of vision.
The treacherous grace still exists
with it's own dash
of compassion.
The Cupid no longer neglects Ann
because it's with her.
Sure, it doesn't make sense
but Love never does.
Author notes
This is the second part of the Ann poems, the first one titled "The Cupid Neglects Ann Always" - about how Love avoided a certain girl, then eventually finds her.

very well written, thank you for adding it to my contest. I enjoyed the read, it's quite a different approach to looking at how love doesn't make sense. The very best of luck to you. xXx
