Imprisoning Rendition

Love and marriage, so they say
Is a grand thing that helps the sway
Falling slowly to your own demise
Cant help but to cry then close your eyes
Sensation weeping as the sorrow erects
Fatuous acts we hold in our secrets
Tearing wounds that were already torn
Heartache and reminders piercing more
“The more you inhale the more you bleed”
Speaking only to what love needs
Sitting and taking every last hit
Absorbing it all like that’s what’s meant
When the absorption is too full
You take the test with loves needle as the duel

Author notes

Okay I know how It sounds, like a I love you but hate you poem, But really it is a poem saying I love you but all you do is hurt. I give you my heart you give me poison in return.
(If that makes sense)
Please read between the lines as deep as you can, it is beautiful in my opinion.
Loves anguish truly shown

    Wow,

You may find this weird, but I actually found myself humming to this, and found a toon while I read this piece. This could be lyrics.. Thanks for sharing, and all the best within the contest!

      Thanks

It was suppose to be a love poem, but it turned so dark and gray...

It is beautiful in my eyes though
I do not tend to like my poems very much but when I do words like yours mean alot

      thanks
