The Shifting Sands Of Love

The sands of time are shifting
The waves are roaring strong
Come back to me my darling
I know I've done you wrong

Forgive me for the cruel way
That I have treated you
Come back to me forever to stay
For I love you so very true

You are my life, my love, my own
You are my love I've always known

This is an interesting take on the prompts, but now I can see the connection, you have given me another angle and perspective. I too, like your rhyming.

I enjoyed reading your work here.

Such a longing for love, and I like the way you rhyme here, it works nicely with the contest you have displayed from your heart. All the best in life and love my friend.
